This statement follows the facilities section expected in federal proposals: where the work is done, what equipment and computing it uses, what is accessed through partners, and who staffs it.
1. Location
Principal place of business: 1413 South King Street, Unit 202A, Honolulu, HI 96814. The office houses the dry-laboratory analysis work, the hardware signing bench and the company's administrative functions. Wet-laboratory and instrument work is carried out at partner facilities under written terms.
2. Computing
GPU instances of 24 GB class in a secured United States cloud region with persistent volumes, plus a local CUDA workstation. Toolchains are pinned by version; every run records its configuration and output digests so results regenerate byte-identically.
3. Hardware signing bench
A development bench for secure-element signing devices and hardware roots of trust, used for firmware work, authorized testing of the company's own devices, and acceptance testing of deployed signers. Component lists, board designs and transports are not published; they are provided to customers and sponsors under the applicable confidentiality terms.
4. Data and provenance infrastructure
Research materials are held in version control with content-addressed binary storage, synced by an idempotent, resumable process. Off-site copies use immutable, object-locked storage under an append-only credential with daily, weekly and monthly snapshots and periodic restoration drills.
The programme runs an append-only, hash-chained, Ed25519-signed artifact ledger; an instrument journal that signs each measurement at acquisition; and a release gate that runs determinism, reproducibility, cross-model agreement, journal-validity, optimisation-gain and probe-sanity checks. The verifier is implemented independently of the writer and holds no keys.
5. Laboratory access and materials
Dry-laboratory analysis is performed internally. Partner instrumentation for thin-film characterisation (Raman spectroscopy at several excitation wavelengths, atomic-force microscopy and focused-ion-beam sectioning) is accessed under written collaboration terms. Partner laboratories are named to a sponsor on request under those terms, and they sign the acquisition records for measurements they take.
Materials on hand include commercial graphene wafers, pre-patterned test chips, a probe station and a glovebox.
6. Personnel
SSX360 is a company of about ten people. Ryan James York leads the research programme. Part-time researchers handle dry-laboratory analysis and partner instrument acquisition, a fractional metrology consultant supports verification work, and a contracted hardware engineer supports the signing bench.
