Security
Services X-Ray.
A weekly column from the bench and the field.
Hardware findings, field reporting, and open-source intelligence from the people doing the work. The newsletter and print edition are available by invitation only.
01 / FIRST COLUMN
Missile hardware and
the Shahed reporting gap.
The opening column examines findings from SSX360’s missile hardware bench, misunderstandings in reporting on Shahed microturbine and jet-powered variants, and the work of our field reporters and open-source intelligence analysts.
We will look at where public accounts diverge from physical evidence, how reporting can distinguish observation from inference, and why this work matters beyond compliance mapping.
Our reporters and analysts work in conditions where being identified can put them at risk. Their identities and sensitive source material are withheld from this public announcement.
